To evoke competence, optimistic thinking and to enhance the innate skills. We organize Guest Lectures, Technical Meets, Sports Activities, Cultural Activities, Social Awareness Programmers & many more in moduling out omnipotent professionals.

Academic Activities

A two day National level symposium "TECH - TWIRL" 2K5 was organised at Kalabharathi, Vizag which is consortial effort of Avanthi Institute of Engg. & Technology, Makavarapalem and St. Theressa Institute of Engg. & Tech. "Garividi. Prof K. C. Reddy, Chairman, APSCHE was the chief guest and Prof K. Rajgopal, Vice Chancellor, JNTU was the Guest of Honor for the inaugural session. Prof L. Venugopala Reddy, Vice Chancellor, Andhra University was the Chief – Guest for the valedictory session.

Eminent speakers from various fields like Prof D. Janakiram, Prof S. Srinivasan both from IIT Chennai, Prof K. Ramakrishnan from IISC Bangalore, Prof R. V. Rajakumar IIT, Kharagpur and many more from TCS, Satyam Computers, NSTL, Vizag & gave their technical presentations. About 40 teams from various Engineering Colleges participated in paper presentation. Cash prizes and certificates were also presented.

The meet was a grand success with more than 1,500 students participating from various engineering college apart from Avanthians.

Industrial Tours

Educational and industrial tours are organized in the interest of students to have a real time industrial exposure which motivates the students for a better performance with career orientation. Some of the organizations which are included in the list are: TCS, BHEL, SATYAM, INFOSYS, CPRI, NRSA at Hyderabad, L&T at Mysore, ISRO, BHPV, Shipyard, Steel Plant at Visakhapatnam and many more.

Guest Lectures

Eminent professors, academicians and senior members from corporate world were invited to give guest lectures and appraise out students about emerging trends in technology.

Placement Activity

Avanthi Institutions, have a Placement division which arranges Campus recruitment in respective Campuses. Good number of students have been placed in elite groups and corporates. The placement division offers training programmes to develop their innate skills. Also, it organizes Job fairs in the benefit of Engineering Graduates of that particular region. Just to mention a few like IBM, INFOSYS, WIPRO, SATYAM, L&T, INFOTECH, MAHINDRA FOURSOFT, DELOITTE, HCL, CONVERGYS, L-CUBE, STREAM etc.

Cultural Activities

“PRARAMBHA” an Induction Meet for Avanthi Engineering and pharmacy students was organized in Feb 2006 at Avanthi Institute of Engg. And Technology Cmpus. Tagarapuvalasa, Cherukupally. Dr. Keshav Rao, President, APCC was the chief guest for the occasion. The meet was organized to welcome freshers and to give a feel of Avanthi spirit. The chief guest gave an inspiring harangue and appreciated the efforts of Sri. M. Srinivasa Rao, Chairman.

"Muster 2K6" a Freshers Meet was organized for AIET, Gunthapally students. Dr. E. Saibaba Reddy, Director of Academic and planning has graced the occasion as Chief Guest. D. N. Reddy, Principal, Osmania University Engineering college was another dignitary who graced the function.

College day celebrations are customary in the annals of Avanthi. The college day celebrations of Avanthi Engineering colleges was held at college compus of AIET, Tagarapuvalasa, Cherukupally. The program was graced by Dr V. Bhushan Reddy, Principal, Osmania University Engineering college and Sri S. V. U. M. Prasad, Principal of Government Polytechnic College.

There ware a number of cultural items presented by the students of our Engineering Colleges at all occasions with great vigour and gaiety.

Students of Avanthi are encouraged with Prizes, citation and awards for academics as well as other extra curricular activities.

Sport Activities

The institutions provide good games and sport facilities to invoke the sportive spinet among the students which gives a refreshing gel apart from inculcating competitive zeal.

Avanthi champions Trophy – 2006 an inter–collegiate cricket tournament was held among the various engineering colleges of coastal districts of AP Sri Kodanda Ramaiah President, AP Voolleyball Association was the chief guest and Sri K. Pardhasaradhi, Hon Secretary, Visakhapatnam District Cricket Association was Guest of Honor.

Social Service Activities

To imbibe Humanitarian values and ethics apart from their academic curriculum, Avanthi Institutions organized various social service and spiritual activities.

A Blood donation camp was organized in association with Lion's Club, Narsipatnam. Students participated which lots of enthusiasm in making the program a success.

Avanthi Institutions adopted few villages like Paderu & Araku agency area in Visakhapatnam Dist. and organized Malaria Eradication program and distributed Medicines, Blankers etc to the victims.

Yoga Programs and spiritual discourses were conducted in Avanthi Engineering & Pharmacy Institutions to inculcate healthy living habits and elevate the young minds to acquire wisdom, evade negative thoughts and acquire positive mind set by yogic practices like meditation and so on.
