Avanthi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences Celebrates Freshers Day with Great Fervor Vizianagaram, January 7, 2025: Avanthi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, one of the leading pharmacy institutions in the region, celebrated its Freshers Day today with great enthusiasm and excitement.

The celebrations began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by a series of cultural events, games, and competitions.

In his welcome address, Dr.M.B.Venjatapathi Raju, Principal of Avanthi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, emphasized the importance of education in shaping the future of the nation. He encouraged the new students to make the most of their time at the institute and to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.

Prof.V.Girija Sastry,Professor, A.U.College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Andhra University a renowned personality in the field of pharmacy attended as Guest of Honor for the event. Madam inspired the students to work hard, be passionate about their chosen Pharmacy field, and to make a positive impact on society.

Dr.Radha Krishnan Desaraju, Deputy Superintendent, K.G. H Attended as Guest of Honor addressed the gathering and congratulated the newly joined students.

Chief Guest Prof.Tejasvi Venkappaa Kattimani, Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Central Tribal University, Vizianagaram shared his thoughts on Significance of Pharmacy Profession and advised the students to grew like Entrepreneur and Support the Environment with their acquired knowledge on Pharmacy subjects.

The celebrations also included a talent show, where the new students showcased their skills in music, dance, and drama. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the winners of the various competitions were awarded prizes.

Speaking on the occasion Sri. Muttamsetti Srinivas Rao, Hon'ble Chairman, Avanthi Group of Institutions of Avanthi said, "We are delighted to welcome the new batch of students to our institute. We are committed to providing them with a world-class education and to helping them achieve their dreams."
